Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how OrbFit (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, Orbital Outpost, the OrbFit athlete app (web, progressive web app, or native wrappers), and related services (the “Services”). This policy is intended to apply consistently across those surfaces.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data — name, email, authentication identifiers, and profile details you provide.
  • Training data — program purchases, entitlements, session logs, journal entries, assessment results, and preferences you record in the app.
  • Payment data — processed by payment providers (for example card networks or app stores). We do not store full card numbers on OrbFit servers when a third-party processor is used.
  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser or app version, approximate location derived from IP, crash logs, and product analytics needed to operate and improve the Services.
  • Integrations — if you connect third-party services (for example health, wearables, or identity providers), we receive the data those services share with us under your authorization.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, secure, and improve the Services
  • Authenticate you and maintain sessions
  • Fulfill purchases and sync entitlements between store and app
  • Personalize training plans, coach experiences, and catalog recommendations
  • Communicate about accounts, transactions, and product updates
  • Detect abuse, enforce Terms, and comply with law

4. Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the product, including:

  • Service providers (hosting, auth, analytics, email, payments)
  • Coaches or program publishers when you purchase or use their programs
  • App stores when you install or buy through store billing
  • Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
  • Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. Cookies and similar tech

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session persistence, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through browser settings; some features may not work without them.

6. Data retention

We retain account and training data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account; some records may remain where we are legally required or permitted to keep them.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the Services at your own risk regarding residual security risk.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us so we can delete it.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to make a request. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages. Account-critical and transactional messages may still be sent.

10. International transfers

We may process information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.

12. Contact

Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact channels listed on the OrbFit site. See also our Terms of Service.
